    Leveraged Buyout (LBO)

    is a transaction in which a company is purchased using a significant amount of borrowed money, often secured by the company?s assets. The goal is to acquire the company with minimal equity investment, improve its financial performance, and eventually sell it for a profit while repaying the debt.
