    Misrepresentation & Concealment

IRDAI classifies intentional misrepresentation of policy details (e.g., coverage, premium, benefits) or concealment of material facts by any party as fraud. Examples include policyholders hiding medical history or agents falsifying contract terms. Identifying such actions early reduces claim risk and protects both insurers and customers from unfair practices.
