    Risk prioritisation

Risk prioritisation is the process of evaluating and ranking security risks based on their potential impact on the business. Not all risks carry the same weight?some are more severe due to factors like system importance, data sensitivity, and ease of exploitation. Treating all risks equally can lead to misallocation of resources, where less critical issues are addressed while more serious threats are overlooked.
