    Cash-intensive business

Cash-intensive businesses are those that regularly handle large amounts of cash, with customers typically paying for goods, services, or products in cash. These businesses can be found across multiple sectors, including retail, hospitality, and transportation. Due to the high volume of cash transactions, they are vulnerable to financial crimes like money laundering and terrorist financing, as illicit funds can easily be introduced and disguised through legitimate cash flows.
