The Act applies extraterritorially where the offender has a UK ?close connection??such as citizenship, residency, or UK incorporation. Even if the bribery took place abroad, UK-based individuals or entities can be prosecuted for offences under S1, S2, S6, or S7, bridging domestic and international enforcement.
