Active Bribery

The Convention makes it a criminal offence for individuals or companies to offer, promise, or give a bribe to a foreign public official to influence their duties improperly in international business. This “supply-side” focus holds payers accountable, requiring parties to criminalize such acts, regardless of where they take place.
