Coverage Limit

A coverage limit is the maximum amount an insurance company will pay for a covered loss under a policy. It sets a cap on the insurer’s financial responsibility, and any costs beyond this limit must be paid by the policyholder. Coverage limits can apply per claim, per year, or for the entire policy term.
