Liquidity Pool

A liquidity pool is a collection of tokens locked in a smart contract to facilitate trading on decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Users called liquidity providers supply token pairs to earn fees. These pools enable instant, permissionless token swaps without relying on traditional order books, making them a core element of DeFi protocols.
