Straw Man

A straw man is a person who acts as a front or figurehead to conceal the identity of the actual beneficial owner in business or legal transactions. This practice is commonly used to hide illicit activities such as money laundering, fraud, or tax evasion, by obscuring who really controls assets or companies.
